Song is Crash ‘n’ Burn by Savage Garden, cartoon is Transformers Animated from Hasbro and I own absolutely NOTHING you see in this video. Screenshots are from both TransformersAnimated.com and TFW2005.com so credit goes to them, not me. I just made the AMV, nothing else!
My first ever TFA AMV! Whoo! Sorry if anything’s bad towards the end, I’m a bit rusty on making these and I did it over two weeks of holidays: you lose your motivation by the 8th day, but I wanted to finish this off so I wouldn’t have clutter on my laptop.
And yes, I’m crazy to think that this song describes the relationship Sari has with the Autobots on Earth.

Creating an Animated Short VLOG 6: Sound FX

HERE IT IS!.. the VLOG on sound effects! I hope you got some use out of this one.
As you can probably tell this is great part of the process. It’s a lot of fun to break sounds down into parts and build them back up using household items… I feel like MacGyver if he were a foley artist.
As with all recordings, you want to keep your eye on the input meter to make sure you’re not clipping when recording your sound effects. Once you’ve cut them up, arrange them to the animatic but remember that these are rough placements so do a good job but don’t obsess over it because they’ll fall into place when you start doing the animation.
What I said at the end is true, if you don’t at least try to tidy your office after recording sound effects you will be struggling with motivation the next day.

Detailing 25 years of great cartoons. With everything out on DVD these days, this is a great way to remind everyone of great cartoons of both the past and near-present.
I plan on doing at least 3 parts, maybe more depending upon reaction and my own personal motivation. I wanted to put together a video that shows a wide variety of shows, as I’m a big kid myself and will always enjoy good animation.
